However, Moses protested to the LORD, “If the Israelites did not listen to me, how is it possible that Pharaoh will listen to me, poor speaker that I am!”īut Moses replied to the LORD, "If the Israelites did not listen to me, then how will Pharaoh listen to me, since I speak with difficulty?"īut Moses spoke to the LORD, “The Israelites have not listened to me how then shall Pharaoh listen to me, poor speaker that I am?” Then Moses said right in front of the LORD, "Look, the Israelis didn't listen to me, so how will Pharaoh? If the Israelites won't listen to me, why should the king of Egypt?" How can I expect Pharaoh to listen? I’m such a clumsy speaker!”īut Moses said to the LORD, “Behold, the people of Israel have not listened to me. “My own people won’t listen to me anymore. But Moses said to the LORD, “If the Israelites will not listen to me, why would Pharaoh listen to me, since I speak with faltering lips?”
